E-mox

active principle : amoxicillin
bactericidal broad spectorum antibiotic
use : ulcerative stomatitis
gingivitis
periodonitis
dose : 10 - 20 mg / kg / 8 - 12 hr
route : oral - I/V - I/M - S/C

synulox - clavulox - augmentin

active principle : amoxicillin + clavulinic acid
clavulinic acid : most successful & higly effective B- lactamase inhibitor
uses : pyoderma
pustular dermatitis
bite wound
traumatic & contaminated wound
anal sac infection inflammation - abscessation
otitis media - otitis interna
bacterial pneumonia
cholecystitis - cholangitis
lower urinary tract infection - pyelonephritis in dog
mastitis
osteomyelitis
discospondylitis
septic arthritis

dose : 12.5 - 25 mg / kg / 8 - 12 hr
route : I/M - S/C - ORAL

penicillin G - Na

narrow spectorum
low activity against G-ve bacteria
it destroyed by B-lactamase EZ produced by some bacteria as E-coli
not give orally : as destroyed by acids
Uses: bite wound
traumatic - contaminated wounds
ulcerative stomatitis
gingivitis
periodonitis
septicemia " bacterial endocarditis "

dose : 20000 - 40000 IU/KG/6 Hr
